The Maude Kerns Art presents the 24th annual Art for All Seasons Membership Exhibit and Club Mud Ceramics Holiday Show & Sale, opening on Friday, November 18. A perfect opportunity to purchase original artwork for holiday gift giving, the Art for All Seasons Exhibit is on display through Friday, December 16.
The public is invited to the Opening Reception on Friday, November 18, from 6 – 8 pm. Many of the exhibiting artists will be present at the reception. Refreshments and Territorial Vineyard wine will be served.
Art for All Seasons features paintings, drawings, prints, photography, and sculpture by over one hundred of the Center’s artist members, including functional and decorative ceramics created by members of Club Mud, the Center’s onsite ceramics studio. Among the many artists exhibiting are painter Victoria Biedron, who shows a still life of sunflowers and a landscape “inspired by the mood of clouds, the texture of the earth, and the sparkle of Oregon waterways”; ceramist Don Clarke, a longtime member of the Club Mud Ceramics Studio, who displays vases, bowls, and other functional ware for the home; and photographer Kevin Reilly, whose two black and white photographs of steam locomotives reveal a style devoted to preserving detail in the image.
